Tomorrow is a New Day.

That is if you're fortunate enough to make it to tomorrow, but let's assume you do.
In that case, here are 2 facts:
FACT #1: Shitty days suck.
FACT #2: I just had one recently.

It seemed that no matter what I thought or did, I felt awful inside. All sorts of weird and depressive thoughts started to creep in. I wanted to be by myself more than usual and I was more on the anti-social side too, which is very unlike me. I usually feed off of people's energy.
Truth be told, I was looking forward to wrapping up the day, just because, well, it was a shitty one.
Now, I am a big believer in living in the moment and I try to make every day count, but that day was just one of those days. We all have them. We do.

So we got home after what seemed like a long-ass day, had a bite and went straight to bed. Shitty thoughts still present and thriving.
I fall asleep.
And then, while catching z's, something incredible happens. Something that I just simply cannot explain. Something truly magical.

Alarm goes off.
I open up my eyes and... bam! I'm a brand new man. All of those weird, depressive and awful thoughts - gone. Just like that.
Is there some science behind this phenomena? Maybe.
Am I a scientist... cmon now.
But this happens time and time and time again.
Today.

Whatever happened yesterday - happened. Whether you won a lottery or lost everything, today is a New Day.
There's so much out there for you (me, everyone) to look forward to that it would be a shame to let yesterday affect how you see and experience life today. As corny as it sounds, life's too short to let yourself have two shitty days in a row.
If you feel like your life is a mess, you are frustrated, lost, sad or depressed (been there, done that), just try & wait it out. Give it a day and then see what happens. It works for me and I hope it will work for you.
Sincerely,
Vinny The Guy
